So, the other day I was watching an F1 race and a question popped into my head: “how many f1 circuits are there?” I mean, they race all over the world, so there’s gotta be a bunch, right?

I started with a simple search. The very first thing shown to me. And that’s the answer!

It’s easy, I got this result:
- Since 1950, Formula 1 Grand Prix races have happened on 76 different circuits.
Deep Dive Into F1 Circuit
But honestly, that big number, 76, that’s for all * means that there have been 76 circuits that have hosted F1 * not all of them are used today.
Figuring out how many are actively used in a current season, well, that number changes. It depends on the year’s schedule and all that.
So yeah, 76 in total throughout history, but the number in use right now? That requires checking the current F1 schedule! I didn’t bother to check this up one by one, I think that number is good enough for me.
