Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this here football stuff, NFL teams and such. I heard some folks yapping about who played for the most teams, and let me tell ya, it’s a whole lotta teams for one fella.
The Guy with the Most Teams

So, this fella, name of Josh Johnson, he’s the one. Played for more teams than I got fingers and toes, almost! They say he played for 14 teams! Fourteen! Can you believe that? He’s like a rolling stone, never stays put for long. They call him a “journeyman,” which sounds fancy, but I reckon it just means he moves around a lot. Like one of them traveling salesmen, but instead of selling stuff, he’s playin’ football.
- Josh Johnson played for 14 NFL teams. That’s a lot, ain’t it?
- He signed with the San Francisco 49ers at the end of the 2022 season. Played in a playoff game, too, but got hurt. Poor fella.
- They say if you look up “journeyman” in the dictionary, you might just see his picture. That’s what they say, I ain’t seen no dictionary in years.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but 14 teams seems like a whole heap. I mean, how do you even remember all them playbooks? And all them teammates? Must be hard, you know, always being the new guy. But hey, he’s gettin’ paid, I reckon. And he’s playin’ the game he loves, or maybe he just loves movin’ around. Who knows?
Other Players Who Moved Around a Lot
There’s other fellas who played for a bunch of teams, too. Not as many as Josh Johnson, mind you, but still a good few. There’s this Shayne Graham fella, a kicker, they say. He played for 10 teams. Ten! That’s a lot of kickin’ for different folks. Bills, Panthers, Bengals… all over the place, he was.
Then there’s this J.T. O’Sullivan guy. He played for 11 NFL teams, plus some teams up in Canada and even over in Europe somewhere. Frankfurt, they said. Sounded foreign. He was a quarterback, I think. Those quarterbacks, they move around a lot, seems like. Always lookin’ for a better deal, I guess. Or maybe nobody wants ‘em for long.
Teams with the Most Wins

Now, while we’re talkin’ football, let’s talk about winnin’. Cause that’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? You wanna win them games, get them trophies. The Green Bay Packers, they got the most wins in NFL history. 800 wins! That’s a whole lotta cheerin’ and hollerin’ for them Packers fans.
But then there’s the Dallas Cowboys. They got a better winnin’ percentage, they say. Means they win more often, even if they ain’t got as many wins total. They win about 57 percent of their games, which ain’t too shabby. Always been a fancy team, them Cowboys.
- Green Bay Packers have the most wins in NFL history (800 wins).
- Dallas Cowboys have the highest winning percentage (.576).
And speaking of winnin’, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots, they got the most Super Bowl wins. Six times each! Super Bowl, that’s the big game, the one everybody wants to win. Those teams, they know how to win, I tell ya. Steelers and Patriots, good teams, real good teams.
Losing Teams
Now, for every winner, there’s gotta be a loser, ain’t that the truth? And the Arizona Cardinals, they got the most losses in the regular season. 803 losses. That’s a lot of heartbreak for them Cardinals fans. But hey, they keep playin’, keep tryin’. That’s all you can do, I guess.
So, there you have it. Josh Johnson, the man who played for the most NFL teams. 14 teams! That’s a record, I reckon, and it might stand for a while. Unless some other fella gets itchy feet and starts movin’ around. You never know in this here football world. It’s always changin’, always somethin’ new happenin’. But one thing stays the same: folks love to watch them boys play, win or lose. And that’s all that matters, in the end.
NFL Teams and Journeymen is a big topic and I just scratched the surface. There is a lot more to it, lot more players and teams, but this here gives you a good idea, a good start. You want to know more, you go look it up yourself. I ain’t got all day.
