Alright, listen up y’all, let’s talk about where to watch them Texas A&M football games. You know, the ones with all that runnin’ and throwin’ and whatnot. Folks keep askin’ me, so I figured I’d just spell it out plain and simple, like how we do things ’round here.
First off, you gotta know when them Aggies are playin’. That’s the most important thing, ain’t it? Can’t watch a game if you don’t know when it’s on. They got this thing called a schedule, looks like a whole bunch of numbers and dates and times. Confusin’ if you ask me, but somebody gotta keep track of it, I reckon. You can usually find this schedule on that internet thingy, or maybe in the newspaper, if they still print them things.

Now, once you know when they’re playin’, you gotta figure out where to watch it. Back in my day, we just huddled ’round the radio, listenin’ to some fella yellin’ about the game. But these youngsters, they got all sorts of fancy contraptions now.
- TV is the big one. Yeah, that big box in your livin’ room. Most of them Aggie games, they’re on somethin’ called ESPN. Sounds like a bunch of letters to me, but that’s where they put the games. Sometimes they’re on other channels too, like CBS or ABC, or somethin’ like that. You gotta check your TV guide, or ask one of them young’uns to do it for ya. They seem to know all about that stuff. You know that ESPN, that’s where them fellas Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, they sit up in that booth at Kyle Field and tell you what’s happenin’. And that Holly Rowe gal, she’s down on the sidelines, talkin’ to the players and such.
- Then there’s this “streamin’” thing. Now, I ain’t too sure how this works, but it’s like watchin’ TV on your computer or your phone, or somethin’. Folks say it’s the future, but I still like my big ol’ TV. Anyway, they got these things called “FUBO” and other names I can’t even pronounce. They say you can watch the games on there, sometimes even for free, if you’re lucky. They got free trials and all that, but you gotta be careful, they might try to charge you later on.
- And of course, you can go to the game itself. Nothin’ beats bein’ there in person, smellin’ the grass and hearin’ the crowd roar. But them tickets ain’t cheap, let me tell you. And you gotta deal with all them crowds and the parkin’ and all that mess. It’s a whole to-do, but it’s fun if you can manage it. Especially when them Aggies play them Longhorns, that’s a big game. They say the Longhorns are pretty good this year, number 3 or somethin’. But the Aggies, they ain’t no slouches either. They gonna give ’em a run for their money, I betcha. That game gonna be on November 30th, mark your calendar. Or when the Aggies play them Arkansas Razorbacks, that’s another one folks get all riled up about. They play that one down in Arlington at that ATT Stadium.
So, there you have it. You wanna watch the Aggies, you got your TV, your streamin’, and goin’ to the game in person. Pick your poison, as they say. Just make sure you got your snacks and drinks ready, ’cause watchin’ football can make a fella hungry. And don’t forget them Bowling Green Falcons, the Aggies gonna play them too. Gotta watch out for them Falcons, they might surprise ya.
And one more thing, if you hear them talkin’ about SEC, that’s just the conference them Aggies are in now. Means they play against a bunch of other tough teams from down south. It’s a big deal, I guess. Makes the games even more excitin’, they say.
Now go on and enjoy the game, y’hear? And don’t forget to yell “Gig ’em Aggies!” every now and then. It ain’t proper football watchin’ if you ain’t doin’ some yellin’. And remember what I told you, it ain’t too much sellin’ when it comes to these games, people wanna watch ’em.
