Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another how-to. So, I wanted to catch the Illinois football game the other day, but I was totally clueless about which channel it was on. I mean, who has time to memorize all these channel lineups, right? So I did what any sane person would do – I hit up the internet.
First things first, I grabbed my phone and opened up my trusty search engine. Typed in “what channel is Illinois football on” and boom, a bunch of results popped up. I started scanning through them, trying to find something useful.

I saw a few mentions of ABC for some bowl game on December 31st, which was cool but not what I was after. Then I spotted something about the Big Ten Network – now we’re talking! It said the game I was looking for was airing there at 9:00 PM ET. Score!
- The Citrus Bowl with Illinois is on ABC, December 31st at 3 PM ET.
- The game I wanted was on Big Ten Network at 9:00 PM ET.
- Another result mentioned a game against Michigan State on November 16th at Memorial Stadium. I guess that’s where they play?
- There was something about FS1 broadcasting a game against Purdue, but that wasn’t the one I needed either.
Here’s What I Found:
After digging a bit more, I found out that the game I was looking for was actually against Michigan State. Turns out it was going to be at Memorial Stadium, wherever that is. But hey, at least I knew where to watch it now!
So, there you have it. After a bit of searching and clicking around, I finally figured out where to catch the Illinois football game. It wasn’t too hard, but it definitely took a few minutes of detective work. Hopefully, this little adventure of mine will save you some time if you’re ever in the same boat. Catch you guys in the next one!
