If you’re plannin’ on goin’ to one of them games, you best get there early. They said you gotta be there maybe two hours or more before the game starts, so you got time to park your car and find your seat. It’s like goin’ to church on Sunday – gotta get there early to get a good spot.
Now, these football fellas, they don’t play forever. I heard the average fella only plays for about three years or so. That ain’t very long, is it? It’s like a blink of an eye compared to how long it takes to grow a good crop of tomatoes.

Seein’ as it’s usually in September, and we’re in… well, I ain’t exactly sure what month it is right now, but it feels like spring is turnin’ into summer. So, you gotta figure, it’s a few months away. Maybe a hundred days or so? Give or take. Like I said, gotta be patient. It’ll be here afore you know it. And if you don’t like football, well, they said there’s hockey or somethin’ else you can watch.
