Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of Max Verstappen memes. I’ve seen a few floating around, and I thought, “Why not make my own?” It seemed like a fun little project.
Getting Started
>
First, I needed some inspiration. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing the internet. You know, scrolling through Twitter, checking out some Formula 1 forums, and generally just seeing what kind of Verstappen memes were already out there. I wanted to get a feel for the common themes and jokes.
Finding the Right Image
Next up, I needed the perfect image. You can’t have a meme without a good base image, right? I looked for some shots of Max. Some of them were with his signature victory pose, others, his intense focused look. I mean you can use those with pretty text on top, and there you have it! a meme of your own.
Brainstorming Captions

This was probably the trickiest part. I wanted something funny, something relatable to F1 fans, but also something that would make sense even if you weren’t a die-hard follower. Here’s a basic draft of what I came up with:
- “When you overtake Lewis Hamilton on the last lap…”
- “Trying to understand the FIA’s rulebook like…”
- “My face when someone says they don’t like Max”
- “Me waiting for the next race weekend…”
- “When you think you have a bad pit stop, but it’s still under 3 seconds”
Putting It All Together
Finally got to use some simple online meme generators and boom! I had made a few new memes.
It was a fun little experiment. I’m no meme master, but it was cool to just play around and see what I could come up with. Maybe I’ll try making some more in the future. Who knows, maybe one of them will even go viral!
