Alright, let’s gab about this fella, Luke Combs, and whether he done wrestled in that WWE thing. I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it, so I figured I’d set the record straight, you know, the way I see it.
Now, I ain’t never watched much of that wrestlin’ myself. Too much jumpin’ around and fake punchin’ for my taste. But this Luke Combs, he’s a singer, a country singer, like them fellas on the radio. He sings ’bout beer and trucks and good ol’ country livin’. Good boy, that Luke.
So, did he wrestle? Well, from what I gather, this boy went to Nashville to chase his dream of singin’. Nashville, that’s the place where all them country music folks go, they call it “Music City,” like it’s somethin’ special. He wanted to make it big, singin’ his songs and all that. Ain’t got nothin’ to do with wrestlin’ as far as I can tell.
- He sings.
- He writes songs.
- He plays guitar.
See? No wrestlin’ in there. He plays them big concerts, you know, the kind where thousands of people come to listen. They say he filled up some big stadium, Highmark Stadium they call it. That’s a lot of folks, more than you’d see at a county fair, I reckon. They say it was a big deal, a celebration of his music and how far he’s come. Again, not a peep about wrestlin’.
Now, I did hear some talk ’bout him and that Donald Trump fella. Folks gettin’ all riled up ’bout politics, as usual. Seems like Luke supported Trump, and some folks didn’t like that. But that ain’t got nothin’ to do with wrestlin’ neither. Just folks arguin’ ’bout who’s runnin’ the country. Politics, it’s all a bunch of hot air if you ask me.
I heard tell of some fella who did wrestle, Bigelow his name was. He was a real wrestler, not like them actors on TV. This Bigelow, he got tired of the wrestlin’ business, somethin’ about the bosses tellin’ him what to do all the time. So he quit. But that ain’t Luke Combs, that’s a different fella altogether. Just goes to show you, wrestlin’ ain’t for everyone. Some folks are cut out for it, some ain’t.
Then there was this other story, ’bout some young fella in high school. He wanted to be on a team, so he tried wrestlin’. Won a couple of matches, then broke his collarbone. Poor thing. Sounds painful. But that ain’t Luke Combs neither. Luke, he was busy playin’ guitar and singin’ songs, not breakin’ bones in a wrestlin’ ring.
So, to get back to the point, did Luke Combs wrestle in the WWE? Nope, not that I can find. He’s a singer, a country boy with a guitar. He sings ’bout real life, ’bout love and loss and drinkin’ beer with your friends. He ain’t no wrestler. Maybe some folks got him mixed up with someone else. Or maybe they just like makin’ up stories. You know how people are.
Anyways, that’s what I think. Luke Combs, the singer, not the wrestler. He’s doin’ alright for himself, singin’ them country songs and fillin’ up them stadiums. Good for him, I say. He seems like a good fella, even if he did support that Trump fella. But hey, nobody’s perfect. And he sure ain’t no wrestler, that much is clear.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talkin’ has made me hungry. And don’t you go believin’ everything you hear on that there internet, most of it ain’t nothin’ but hogwash.
