Alright, guys, so I’ve been getting tons of questions about NBA 2K24 lately, especially about whether it finally has cross-platform play. You know, so you can hoop with your buddies no matter if they’re on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. I was curious too, so I decided to do some digging and, well, play the game myself, of course!
First thing I did was fire up my trusty old gaming PC. I’ve got a pretty decent setup, so I figured I’d start there. I already preordered NBA2K24, I launch my Steam and download the game.

My Gaming Session Begins
I jumped straight into a quick online * first several matches are all with players on PC, so I guess it works, but I have no idea about playing with my friend who has a PlayStation 5.
- Checking the Settings: I poked around in the game’s settings menus. Looked under “Online,” “Features,” everything. Didn’t see any obvious toggle for cross-platform play. Usually, if it’s there, it’s pretty easy to find. I was starting to get a little worried.
The Real Test
Then, I ask my friend who has a PlayStation 5 to join a game at the same time with me, and it did not take too long to find each other and connected! so it is working!
So, there you have it. After all that searching and playing, It seems NBA 2K24 did support cross platform play ! It is not a romor anymore! Grab your friends, no matter what system they’re on, and get ready to ball!
