Well, let me tell ya, if you ever plan on goin’ to see them Florida State Seminoles play at Doak Campbell Stadium, you better know what seats you’re lookin’ for. It’s a big ol’ place, ya know, with nearly 80,000 seats. They sure didn’t start out that big. Back in the day, it was only 15,000 seats when it first opened up in 1953. But boy, it sure grew, just like them Seminoles kept growin’ in their game.
Now, I ain’t no expert in all them fancy charts, but from what I hear, if you’re lookin’ for the best seats in the house, you gotta aim for sections 8 to 12, and 31 to 35. And if ya wanna be right up close to all the action, you might wanna pick a seat in them rows 35 through 50. That’s where the view’s mighty fine, especially if you got a fancy pair of binoculars.

Doak Campbell Stadium, with its big ol’ crowd of 79,560, is the second largest stadium in the Atlantic Coast Conference, just behind the big ones in them other states. It’s also one of the largest in the whole world! I ain’t kiddin’, it ranks 49th outta all them stadiums. So, if you’re headin’ there to watch a game, you’re in for a real treat, as long as ya don’t mind a crowd.
If you’re wonderin’ where to sit for them big games, like when Florida State’s takin’ on them Notre Dame Fighting Irish or them Louisville Cardinals, well, you better make sure you’re sittin’ somewhere with a good view. There’s a lotta seats, but some of ’em ain’t got the best views, so make sure you check out that seating chart before you get yer tickets.
- Best Seats: Sections 8-12, 31-35, Rows 35-50
- Stadium Capacity: 79,560 seats
- Largest Stadiums: 49th largest in the world
- Student Sections: Well, you know them college kids like to make noise, so watch out for them!
And don’t you forget, when you’re lookin’ to buy them tickets, check for the right seat views. Ain’t no point in sittin’ somewhere you can’t see what’s goin’ on. I reckon if you’re gonna spend your hard-earned money to go see them Seminoles, ya better enjoy the game in comfort, right?
Oh, and one last thing, if you’re drivin’ there, don’t go forgettin’ about the parking! It can get mighty crowded out there, so be prepared, ‘specially for them big games like when Syracuse Orange comes to town. It’s better to get there early, trust me on that one.
So, if you’re lookin’ to get a good seat for a Florida State game, just remember: pick a good section, check the view, and get there early if you want a decent parking spot. Ain’t nothin’ worse than being late and stuck in the back row when the game’s already started!
