Okay, here is my sharing about how to dry a baseball glove based on my experience:
I remember one time after a game, my baseball glove got soaked. It was a mess, and I knew I had to dry it properly or it would be ruined. So, I started to figure out how to dry a baseball glove.

First, I shook off as much water as I could. Then, I wiped the whole thing down. I made sure to get into all the little corners.
- Grabbed a clean, dry towel.
- Patted the glove gently to soak up the water. I didn’t rub it because I didn’t want to damage the leather.
After that, I just let it sit out at room temperature. I placed it on a dry surface. I knew better than to use a heater or put it in the sun. I heard that can mess up the leather big time.
Keep the Shape
To keep the glove’s shape, I put a baseball in the pocket. Then, I tied a rubber band around the whole thing. This helps keep the pocket nice and formed. I made sure not to tie it too tight, just enough to hold the ball in place.
Once the glove was dry, I checked it all over. Sometimes, the leather can get a little stiff after it dries. If it feels stiff, you can use a bit of leather conditioner. That helps soften it up.
So, that’s how I dried my baseball glove. It’s not too hard, just need to be patient and let it air dry. And don’t forget to use that leather conditioner if it needs it. Keeps the glove in good shape for more games to come!
