Well, let me tell you, I been hearin’ folks talkin’ ’bout this NFL Network on DISH thing. They say it’s somethin’ special for watchin’ football. Now, I ain’t no expert on these fancy TV things, but I sure do love watchin’ a good game. So, I asked around, you know, tryin’ to figure out how much this whole thing costs. You gotta watch your pennies, especially these days!
Some folks say it ain’t too bad. They say you gotta get somethin’ called a “package.” Like buyin’ a whole basket of goods at the market, I reckon. And this here DISH thing, it’s got a bunch of these “packages.” One of ’em, they call it the Top 120 Plus package. You gotta have that one first, I hear. It’s like the foundation of a house – gotta have that strong base!

Then, on top of that, there’s another little somethin’ you gotta add. It’s the sports package, they say. This is where the football is, I’m told. And that’ll set ya back about $13 each month. Thirteen dollars! That’s a good chunk of change, but folks say it’s worth it if you’re a real football fanatic. Now they are talkin’ about some other packages. That’s too much for me, but I know you young folks like options.
- Top 120 Plus Package – You need this one first.
- Sports Package – This is for the NFL Network, costs about $13.
- You pay for these every month!
I heard some other folks talkin’ about some other way to get the football games. It’s called Sling. Don’t ask me what that is, it sounds like somethin’ you’d use to catch a rabbit. But apparently, it’s cheaper, or so they say. But then you gotta have this Amazon Prime thing for Thursday night games. And ESPN for Monday night games. And NBC for Sunday night games. Sounds like a whole lot of rigmarole to me, if you ask me!
And then, you need CBS and Fox for other games. These names all sound familiar. My old man used to watch CBS. It is all so complicated. My grandson told me it is easier to watch on his phone these days.
They also mention somethin’ called NFL+. Sounds like you’re just addin’ a plus sign to the NFL. Supposedly, it’s the cheapest way to get that NFL Network. But then you gotta deal with that Sling TV thing again. I tell ya, it’s enough to make your head spin! Why can’t they just make it simple? Back in my day, you just turned on the TV and watched what was on.
But, I guess times have changed. This DISH thing, they say it’s the “Home for NFL Football.” Big words, huh? They say you can watch over 100 NFL games during the season. That’s a lot of football! And you don’t have to pay a fortune, like up to $489 a year, they say. You get NFL Network, somethin’ called NFL Redzone, and ESPN. Seems like you get a lot for your money with DISH, if you like that sort of thing.
So, how much is the NFL Network on DISH? Well, from what I gathered, it’s about $13 a month for that sports package, but you gotta have that other package too, the Top 120 Plus. It all adds up, you know. You gotta do the math and see if it’s worth it for ya. Me, I’m still on the fence. I might just stick to watchin’ the games at my neighbor’s house. He’s got it all figured out, that one.

They also say that you can save some money on football packages with DISH. They have ESPN. What is ESPN? I don’t know. Sounds important. They also have NFL RedZone and NFL Network HD channels. I don’t know what HD means, but I guess it’s better than the regular ones. They say you won’t miss the action. Sounds good, right?
It is all about your needs. If you are a big fan and need to watch every game, maybe it is good. But if you are just an old lady like me, maybe it is too much. I just want to enjoy the game, you know? I don’t need all these fancy things. But, if you really, really love football, then maybe this DISH thing is for you. Just make sure you do your homework and figure out what package is best for your needs. You don’t wanna be spendin’ more than you have to! It’s like buyin’ too much fabric for a quilt – you end up with a lot of scraps you don’t need.
It seems DISH is good for football. It says you can watch many games on DISH and not pay much money. You get NFL Network, NFL Redzone, and ESPN. That’s a lot of football! Seems like DISH is a good deal for football fans. If you love football, you should think about gettin’ DISH.
These young folks like to compare these packages. I don’t see the point. Pick one and watch football! But if you must, there are many packages on DISH. Find one you like and enjoy the games. If you are a big fan, get the best package. If not, get a cheaper one. It is all up to you. That’s all I can say about it. It’s all too much for me. I just want to watch the game and have some pie.
