Yesterday, I was watching the NFL, and I started thinking about those guys doing the commentary. You know, the broadcasters. How much do they actually make? I got curious and decided to dig into it.
So, first, I hit up Google. Just a simple search, you know, “how much do NFL broadcasters make?” And bam, tons of articles popped up. I started clicking through them, trying to get a sense of the numbers. It turns out it’s not that straightforward. These guys, their salaries are all over the place.

Here’s what I found out:
-
Big Names, Big Bucks:
The top guys, the ones you always hear on the major networks, they’re raking it in. For example, I read about this one guy, Cris Collinsworth, who’s with NBC. Apparently, he’s pulling in around $12.5 million a year. That’s a lot of money, especially for someone who’s mostly talking about football games.
-
Another big name with NBC:
Then there’s Mike Tirico, another NBC guy. He’s also up there, making about $10.5 million. It seems like being a top NFL broadcaster on a major network is a pretty sweet gig, at least money-wise.
-
Tom Brady’s Case:
And you can’t talk about NFL broadcasters without mentioning Tom Brady. Now, he’s a different story. I read that he’s going to be making a crazy amount of money when he starts broadcasting. But he’s Tom Brady, so he’s kind of in his own league.
So, that’s what I found. It’s pretty interesting how much these guys make. I mean, it’s not just a simple job, they’re a big part of the whole NFL experience. But still, those salaries are pretty eye-opening. The whole thing made me realize that there’s a lot more to these broadcasts than just the game on the field.
