Okay, so I’ve been meaning to catch an LSU baseball game for a while now. I’m a huge fan, and I finally decided to make it happen. First thing I did was try to figure out how much those tickets would set me back.
I started my quest by checking out a bunch of websites. I found out that the prices can really vary. For a regular-season game, the cheapest I saw was around 21 bucks, which ain’t bad. But the average price was more like 41 dollars. That’s still doable, but it’s something to keep in mind.

Where You Sit Matters
Naturally, where you sit in the stadium makes a big difference. If you’re cool with sitting in the outfield, those are usually the cheapest seats. I’m not super picky, so I was fine with that. I found out that you can buy tickets in advance, too. They have this online system, or you can just call them up or even go in person. They even say tickets are 10 bucks for adults and 5 bucks for kids if you get them ahead of time. Not too shabby, right?
But then I saw some other numbers that were way higher. Like, some tickets were going for 45 dollars or more, and those were the cheap ones! Apparently, they have these fancy “loge boxes” that cost a whopping 9,400 dollars per season! You get four seats, but still, that’s a lot of dough. That includes some donations to the Tiger Athletic Foundation, which is cool, but man, that’s out of my league.
My Plan
After digging around some more, I decided to aim for a regular-season game and grab a seat in the outfield. I figure I can probably snag a ticket for around 20 to 40 dollars, depending on the game and when I buy it. I’m thinking of buying it in advance just to be safe. I might even try to find some buddies to go with me. I also saw that I could check out the secondary market. Tickets there can be more expensive, but it’s good to know I have options.
So, that’s where I’m at with my LSU baseball ticket hunt. It’s been a bit of an adventure figuring out the prices and all the different options.
I am trying to find a ticket online and I will let you know how it goes.
