Alright, so the other day I was thinking, “Man, football season feels so far away!” I really wanted to know exactly how long I had to wait. So, I started my little investigation.
Figuring Out the NFL Start Date
First things first, I needed to find out the official start date for the 2024 NFL season. I did a quick search and, boom, found it. The season kicks off on Thursday, September 5th. The Kansas City Chiefs are playing, and they’ll be raising their banner that night. Cool, got the date!
Counting Down the Days
Now for the tricky part – figuring out the number of days. I grabbed my phone’s calendar and started counting. Manually going through each month seemed tedious. But there are online day calculators, but I prefer to count.
My Final Count
I used my trusty phone *, I got the same result.
So there you have it. I started by finding the kickoff date, figured out the current date, and then did some good old-fashioned counting(also I used online tools) to get the exact number of days. Now I have my countdown, and I’m even more excited for the season to start!
