But I reckon if they got their story right, maybe that’s for the best. Ain’t no need for folks to be makin’ a bigger mess of things.

He said they never dated, just had a “sexual relationship.” Now, I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sure sounds complicated to me.
So what does all this mean? Well, I reckon it’s a cautionary tale, don’t you think? People make mistakes, and sometimes they just don’t think things through. If you’re gonna date someone, or even just be around ’em, you better know what you’re gettin’ into. ‘Cause when you get involved in all this drama, it ain’t just the people in the middle that get hurt. Everybody gets a little bit of mud on ’em, and it takes a long time to clean it off.
In the end, I guess we all just gotta watch how we carry ourselves. You never know who’s watchin’ or what folks might say. But one thing’s for sure, Ezekiel Elliott and Holly Powell got themselves caught up in a whirlwind of rumors and troubles. Whether they’re true or not, well, that’s somethin’ for the courts and folks smarter than me to figure out. But for now, it’s a good reminder to think before you act and remember who you’re dealin’ with.
