Well, let me tell you, this whole internet thing is still new to me. But my grandson, he’s always on that computer. He told me about this thing called “Peacock.” Said it’s like a TV, but on the computer. He said I could watch my football games on there. Now, I like my football. I like to see them big fellas run around and tackle each other. It’s good fun.
So, this Peacock thing, he says you gotta pay for it. Ain’t nothin’ free these days, I tell ya. But he says it’s worth it. He says you can watch all sorts of football games. Like them big fancy ones, you know, the ones with the loud crowds and the bright lights. Those NFL games he always goes on about.

He showed me how it works. You click some buttons, and boom, there’s the game. But he said somethin’ about replays. Said you can’t always watch ’em right away. Sometimes you gotta wait. Like, 24 hours or somethin’. I don’t know why, but that’s what he said. So if you miss a game, you can watch it later on this Peacock replay thing.
- You gotta pay for Peacock.
- You can watch lots of football games.
- You can watch replays, but maybe not right away.
- My grandson showed me how it works.
- It’s like TV, but on the computer. I still like my regular tv better though.
Now, he also mentioned somethin’ about “Premier League.” I don’t rightly know what that is. Sounds fancy. He said it’s some kind of soccer. I ain’t too interested in soccer, but he said they got that on Peacock too. I guess if you like that kinda thing, that’s good.
He said this Peacock thing has somethin’ called a “channel.” Like on the TV, but it’s just for that Premier League soccer. Always on, he said. Well, that’s somethin’, I suppose. He showed me these “studio shows” too. Just a bunch of folks talkin’ about the games. I guess some people like that. I don’t need no one telling me about the game, I can see it with my own two eyes. But that’s just me, I guess.
Then there’s this other thing he was goin’ on about. “NFL+” or somethin’. Said you gotta pay extra for that too. But you can watch replays of the NFL games right quick. Soon as the game’s over, you can watch it again. Sounds like a good deal if you are really into them football games and don’t wanna wait. He also said something about “All-22 coaches’ film”. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds complicated. Probably for them young folks who understand all that fancy stuff. He says it shows every player on the field, no matter where the ball is. Sounds like too much for me to keep track of!
I asked him, “How do I get this Peacock thing?” He said you gotta “sign up.” I don’t know what that means, but he did it for me. Typed some stuff on the computer, clicked a few buttons, and there it was. Now I can watch my football games whenever I want, even if I have to wait a bit for the replay. It is all very confusing. But I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks, as they say.
He showed me these “classic games” on there, too. Old games from years ago. I remember some of them. It was nice to see them again. Brought back some memories. This whole thing is a bit much for me, if I am being honest. But at least I can watch my football, and that’s what matters.

So, yeah, this Peacock thing, it’s got football. Lots of it. New games, old games, replays of the games. You gotta pay for it, of course. But if you really like your football, I reckon it’s worth it. My grandson seems to think so, and he knows about these things. Me? I’m still gettin’ used to it. But I’ll figure it out. Just gotta remember which buttons to click. And maybe get my grandson to help me again when I forget. He’s a good boy, even if he is always on that darn computer.
I guess that what they say is right, if you want to watch those football games again, on replay, then you can use that Peacock. Don’t know about all the other stuff but that’s the gist of it. Seems like there are some you can watch and some you can’t though, not sure why. Maybe that grandson of mine can tell me again another day.
Hope this helps you figure out that Peacock thing.
