Okay, here’s my blog post about trying to get that Charles Leclerc hair:
Alright, so I’ve been seeing Charles Leclerc’s hair all over my feed, and I gotta say, I was kinda jealous. That wavy, effortlessly cool look? I wanted it. So, I decided to try and replicate it myself. Let me tell you, it was a journey.

The Starting Point
First, I needed to assess my own hair. I have naturally straight, and thin hair that, I would be honest, is a total opposite of Leclerc’s. His is thick and wavy. This was gonna be an uphill battle, I could feel it.
The Research Phase
Next, I spent some time online, just staring at pictures of Leclerc. I needed to figure out what exactly makes his hair look so good. It’s not just messy, there’s a definite style there. It’s like, controlled chaos. I noticed it’s longer on top, shorter on the sides, and has this sort of tousled, textured wave.
The Cut
So I tried to make it. I trimmed the sides a bit, just to give that tapered look. Then, I attempted to add some layers on top. It wasn’t perfect, but I figured the styling would make up for it, hopefully.
The Styling Struggle
Here’s where things got tricky. I grabbed some sea salt spray, because I heard that helps with texture and wave. I sprayed it in, scrunched my hair, and…it just looked kinda wet and stringy. Not the Leclerc vibe I was going for.
Then, I tried a texturizing cream. I worked it through my hair, trying to create that piece-y, separated look. A bit better, but still not quite right. It felt heavy, and my hair started to lose what little volume it had.
I even attempted to use a diffuser on my hairdryer. That just made me look like I’d stuck my finger in a socket. Frizzy city!

The (Almost) Success
Finally, I decided to go back to basics. I washed my hair, let it air dry most of the way, and then used just a tiny bit of the texturizing cream. I focused on scrunching and twisting small sections, trying to encourage some wave. I also pushed it back off my forehead, like Leclerc does.
The Verdict
Okay, so it’s not a perfect match. My hair is just too different from Leclerc’s to get the exact same look. But, I think I managed to capture some of the essence. It’s got a bit more wave, a bit more texture, and it definitely looks more styled than my usual just-rolled-out-of-bed look. I think I will practice and make some adjustment several days!
