Okay, so I wanted to check out Canelo Álvarez’s boxing record, like, see how many fights he’s had, wins, losses, all that good stuff. You know, get the real stats. So, I went straight to the source, the place everyone talks about for boxing records: BoxRec.
Firing Up the Browser
First thing, I opened up my browser. Nothing fancy, just the usual one I always use.

Heading to BoxRec
Typed in “BoxRec” in the search bar, boom, there it was, the first result. Clicked on that.
Searching for Canelo
Once I was on the BoxRec site, I found their search box. It’s pretty easy to spot, usually right at the top. I typed in “Canelo Álvarez”.
Finding His Profile
The search results popped up, and yep, there was Canelo’s profile. I made sure it was the right guy – sometimes there are fighters with similar names. It was, The Canelo, So I clicked on his name to go to his full profile.
Checking Out the Stats
His profile page had everything laid out.
- Total fights: I could see the total number of professional fights he’s had.
- Wins: It showed how many wins he has.
- Losses: Showed how many time he lost.
- KOs: The number of knockouts he’s scored was right there.
- His whole fight history: There was also a list of every single fight, with the date, opponent, result, and how the fight ended (decision, KO, etc.).
Diving into Specific Fights
I even clicked on some of the individual fight links to get more details. It’s all pretty straightforward. You can see who he fought, when, and how it went down.
So yeah, that’s how I used BoxRec to check Canelo’s record. It’s all there, pretty easy to find and navigate. No fuss, no muss, just the facts. That’s the way, just do it!
