Oh, this Arizona Cardinals roster, eh? 2022 season, I tell ya, it had all kinds of ups and downs. But lemme walk ya through the roster of these young fellas who pulled on that red jersey and went out there on the field. Now, if you’re lookin’ for who was playin’ what position, heights and weights, and all that, well, you’re in the right spot. Let’s go ahead and see the team that made it to the field in the 2022 season.
Quarterbacks (QB)
- Kyler Murray – The main man under center, you know. Kyler, he’s known for his quick feet and fast moves, and he’s got himself a strong arm too. The kid might not be tall, only around 5’10”, but boy, does he make up for it on the field.
- Colt McCoy – Backin’ up Kyler, good ol’ Colt. Experienced fella, and he came in handy when Kyler was out dealin’ with injuries. A solid guy to have on the bench, ready to go in at a moment’s notice.
Running Backs (RB)
- James Conner – Now here’s a tough one, folks. Conner’s got strength in those legs, and when he runs, folks take notice. James gave ‘em some good runs and played a big role when it came to tough yards.
- Eno Benjamin – Another solid player, a younger one, not as experienced, but he’s quick, and he’s got some moves of his own. Good backup to have.
Wide Receivers (WR)
- DeAndre Hopkins – Now, who doesn’t know Hopkins, eh? Tall fella, got great hands. You throw a ball his way, and nine times outta ten, he’s catchin’ it. One of the best out there.
- A.J. Green – A veteran, this one. Green knows the field, and he knows where to be. He may be gettin’ older, but he’s still a good one to have out there catchin’ passes.
Offensive Line (OL)
- Kelvin Beachum – Strong as an ox, this fella. Holds up the line, protects the QB. Been around, so he knows how to keep his guy safe.
- Justin Pugh – Another solid blocker. Part of the team protectin’ Murray, and it’s no easy job, lemme tell ya. These big guys workin’ the line don’t get enough credit.
Defense
Linebackers
- Isaiah Simmons – This one, folks, he’s quick and clever. He knows the field, he knows where the ball’s gonna be, and he’s right there. A young guy but with a lotta talent.
- Krys Barnes – A big guy, always in there stoppin’ the run plays. He’s got height, he’s got weight, and he’s got the drive.
Defensive Backs (DB)
- Budda Baker – Now Budda, he’s quick as a fox. He’s the one runnin’ back there, keepin’ those passes from landin’. Mighty good to have him back there.
- Marco Wilson – This one’s got some experience, plays a big role on the defensive side. He’s there when the passes come his way, makin’ sure nothin’ gets by.
Now, I gotta say, this here roster went through some rough patches. Injuries, eh, can’t avoid ‘em. Kyler Murray had his share of troubles stayin’ fit, and it hurt the team a good deal. The whole season felt like one step forward, two steps back. They only won four games outta the whole season, ended 4-13. It was tough, but they had some shining moments, like Kyler throwin’ to Conner to get close to that end zone, tryin’ to pull off wins here and there.
