Alright, so you wanna know if them Venum boxing gloves are any good, huh? Well, let me tell ya what I’ve heard and seen around.
First off, lots of folks talk about Everlast. Yeah, yeah, big names like Mike Tyson and that fella, Muhammad Ali, they used ’em. But we ain’t talkin’ ’bout Everlast now, are we? We’re talkin’ ’bout Venum.

Now, Venum, they got all sorts of fightin’ gear. Gloves, clothes, the whole shebang. They even got this “Tiger” line, supposed to be strong and quick like a tiger, ya know? They say it’s got this triple-layered foam inside, for cushionin’ your punches. Sounds fancy, but does it work? That’s the real question.
Some folks say Venum gloves are good for all kinds of punchin’ sports, like boxing and that kick-boxing stuff. See, they got extra paddin’ on the back of the glove, so you can kick and punch without hurtin’ yourself too bad. My friend at the gym, he uses ’em for kick-boxing, says they’re great. But he’s a young fella, strong as an ox, maybe he don’t feel the pain like us old folks.
But then you hear other things, ya know? Like, some fella was sayin’ his friend had a couple pairs of Venum gloves, and the paddin’ inside just shifted around and went flat. Said the material was kinda weird and thin too. Now, that don’t sound too good, does it? You don’t want your gloves fallin’ apart on ya mid-punch, that’s for sure.
And speaking of fallin’ apart, I saw some folks complainin’ on the internet, sayin’ their Venum gloves from Amazon ripped and tore after just a month. A month! That ain’t no time at all. You spend good money on gloves, you expect ’em to last a bit longer than that. Makes you wonder if they’re cuttin’ corners somewhere.
Now, they got this “Elite Evo” glove, made with some kind of fancy microfiber stuff. Sounds strong, but is it? And they got all sorts of other gloves, different kinds for trainin’ and fightin’. They say they’re light and tough, but words are cheap. You gotta see for yourself, or at least hear from someone you trust.
- One thing’s for sure, boxing gloves are important. You can’t go punchin’ stuff without ’em, unless you wanna break your hands.
- And good gloves, they should protect your hands and your opponent. Nobody wants to get hurt bad in a fight, even if it’s just for fun.
Some other brands, like this “Contender” glove, they say it’s made with real tough leather and special foam to soak up the punches. Maybe that’s somethin’ to consider too. Don’t just go buyin’ the first fancy name you see.

So, are Venum boxing gloves good? Well, it seems like it depends who you ask and which gloves you’re lookin’ at. Some folks love ’em, some folks say they fall apart. Me? I ain’t no fighter, but I’d say do your homework. Read the reviews, ask around, and if you can, try ’em on before you buy ’em. Don’t wanna waste your hard-earned money on somethin’ that ain’t gonna last.
And remember, a good pair of gloves should feel comfortable, protect your hands, and last you a good while. Don’t settle for nothin’ less. Whether it’s Venum or somethin’ else, make sure it’s right for you. That’s all there is to it.
