Now, Sonnen, he wasn’t shy; he kept goin’ after Silva like a mad dog chasin’ a squirrel. From the first round, he was swingin’ hard, takin’ Silva down more times than I could count. People in that arena, they were gaspin’ like fish out of water every time Silva hit the mat. Some folks started thinkin’ maybe Silva had finally met his match. But Silva, well, he was just biding his time like he knew somethin’ we didn’t. And there we were, goin’ into the fifth round, and Silva still hadn’t given up yet.
Then, as fate would have it, in that last round, Silva turned it around like you wouldn’t believe! He got Sonnen in one of them triangle armbar holds, tight as a vise, and let me tell ya, that was it. Sonnen had to tap out, and Silva kept his belt. Folks couldn’t believe their eyes!
