You go to the Grades and Attendance screen, and there it is, plain as day. They got all these letters and numbers, but you wanna look for that F1 column. Sometimes they put a percentage score there too, so you can see exactly how well ya did, not just some letter.

Why is F1 so important?

Q1 and Q2, those are for the quarters, like the first part of the year and the second part. S1 and S2, those are for the semesters, like the whole first half of the year and the whole second half. And E1 and E2, those are for the exams, the tests they give ya. But F1, that’s the king of them all, the final grade. Sometimes, if you mess up real bad, they give ya an F1 or F2. F1 means ya failed but at least ya tried, ya stayed in class past the halfway point. F2, well, that means ya didn’t even try, ya quit before the class was even halfway done.

Now, I heard tell that F1 ain’t just about grades neither. Apparently, there’s this competition where kids get to build these little race cars, like them Formula One cars ya see on TV. They call it F1 in Schools, and it’s all about science and math and engineering, all them fancy things. So, if you hear someone talkin’ about F1, they might be talkin’ about that too. But mostly, when you see F1 in PowerSchool, it’s just your final grade.
Keepin’ it simple
