Alright, let’s talk about this NFL ticket thing with DISH, ya know, the TV stuff. Folks been askin’ me, “Hey, does DISH have that NFL ticket?” Well, lemme tell ya what I heard.
First off, DISH does have some football, yeah, they do. They got them Thursday night games, Sunday night, and Monday night games too. That’s what they say. Sounds like a lot, right? But it ain’t the whole shebang, not exactly.

Now, if you wanna see all them touchdowns on Sunday, like, every single one, they say you gotta get this Multi-Sport Pack thing. It’s like an add-on, you know? Costs extra money, of course. Nothin’s free these days, that’s for sure. With this Multi-Sport Pack, you get somethin’ called NFL RedZone. They say it’s the best way to watch all the games at once, flippin’ from one game to another when somebody’s ’bout to score. Sounds fancy, huh?
- Thursday Night Football – DISH has it.
- Sunday Night Football – Yep, they got that too.
- Monday Night Football – DISH shows these games as well.
- NFL RedZone – You need the Multi-Sport Pack for this. It shows all the touchdowns and important plays.
But here’s the thing, this ain’t that NFL Sunday Ticket everyone’s talkin’ ’bout. That Sunday Ticket, that’s a whole different animal. It lets you watch any game on Sunday, no matter what team’s playin’. That’s what I heard, anyway.
Now, DISH, they used to have that Sunday Ticket, years ago. But then some other fella, YouTube or somethin’, they snatched it up. So, no, DISH don’t got the full NFL Sunday Ticket no more. Don’t go thinkin’ you’re gonna get every single game just ‘cause you got DISH. It ain’t like that.
So, how much does all this cost? Well, the regular DISH packages, they say it’s somethin’ like $84.99 to $114.99 a month. That’s a lot of money, if you ask me. And that Multi-Sport Pack, that’s extra on top of that. They didn’t tell me exactly how much, sneaky buggers. And if you want that NFL Sunday Ticket from whoever has it now… well, I heard it’s gonna cost ya around $349 for the whole season. Lordy, that’s enough to buy a whole lotta groceries!
So, to make it clear, DISH has football games, yes. They got Thursday, Sunday night, and Monday night games. They got RedZone if you pay extra. But they do NOT have the NFL Sunday Ticket. That’s the big difference. Don’t let ‘em fool ya.
And that Hopper Plus thing they talk about? It’s somethin’ that lets you watch stuff on the internet, like Netflix and such. It’s got nothin’ to do with gettin’ more football games, as far as I can tell. Just another way to get your money, I reckon.

You can watch the playoffs and the Super Bowl with DISH, though. That’s somethin’, at least. Everybody wants to see the Super Bowl, even if they don’t watch football the rest of the year.
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on DISH and the NFL, as best as this old woman can figure it out. You want all the games, you gotta go somewhere else for that Sunday Ticket. You just want some games, and you don’t mind missin’ some, then DISH might be alright for ya. Just make sure you know what you’re payin’ for, that’s all I’m sayin’.
It’s all a bit confusing if you ask me. Too many choices, too many prices. Back in my day, we had one channel and we liked it! But that’s how it is now, I guess. Just gotta make the best of it and try not to get ripped off.
