Alright, so you wanna know who got the boot from WWE, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s been a whole mess of firin’s lately. Them folks up there at WWE, they been swingin’ the axe like it’s goin’ outta style.
First off, back in September 2023, they let go of some big names, I tell ya. Dolph Ziggler, that fella with the bleach blonde hair who’s been around forever, he got the sack. Can you believe it? And that guitar-playing fella, Elias, he’s gone too. Always strummin’ that thing, and now he’s strummin’ his way outta a job.
Then there was Mustafa Ali, a good wrestler, he was. And Shelton Benjamin, that strong fella who could do all them fancy moves, they let him go too. It’s a shame, I say. And that young fella from NXT, Matt Riddle, he got fired just a day later. Folks say it was ’cause WWE merged with that UFC bunch, TKO Group Holdings, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, but it just means more folks losin’ their jobs, if you ask me.

But the firin’s didn’t stop there, no sirree. Just here recently, Fightful Select, they’re like them gossip folks for wrestling, they said Baron Corbin, that big grumpy fella, he got fired too. And two gals, Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell, they got let go as well. It’s a tough business, this wrestlin’ thing, I tell ya.
And wouldn’t you know it, more firin’s in May of 2024. This time it was a bunch of them NXT fellas and gals. Besides Drew Gulak and that Olympic fella, Gable Steveson, they canned like ten more of them young’uns. Names like Boa, Darrell Mason, Emma Maria Diaz… Shoot, I can’t even remember all their names. There was just so many of ’em. Ezekiel Balogun, Julian Baldi, Keyshawn Leflore, Kiyah Saint, Trey Bearhill, and Valentina Feroz. All gone.
Now, you might be askin’, what does WWE even stand for? Well, I heard Elias himself sayin’ it stands for… somethin’ or other. Truth be told, I can’t rightly remember. But what I do know is that it stands for a whole lotta heartbreak for these wrestlers who just lost their jobs. It’s a dog-eat-dog world, that’s for sure.
These firin’s, they were real surprises, I tell ya. Folks thought some of these wrestlers would be around forever. Like Dolph Ziggler, he was there for ages. But I guess nobody’s safe in that business. One minute you’re on top, the next you’re out on your rear end.
It makes you think, don’t it? All that hard work, all them bumps and bruises, and for what? Just to get tossed aside like yesterday’s trash. It ain’t right, I tell ya. But that’s the way the world works, I guess. Them big bosses, they don’t care about nothin’ but the bottom line. And the wrestlers, well, they’re just pawns in their game.
So, that’s the lowdown on who got fired from WWE. It’s a long list, and it’s a sad one too. Makes you wonder who’s next, don’t it? This wrestlin’ business, it’s a tough one, alright.
Anyways, that’s all I know about it. Just a whole bunch of folks losin’ their jobs. It’s a darn shame, it is.
