Well, now, you folks might be wonderin’ about Kayla Harrison’s weddin’, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it was somethin’ special. Now, Kayla, she’s a fighter—yep, a real tough one. Used to do all that judo stuff, and now she’s mixed up in that Ultimate Fighting Championship. But, don’t go thinkin’ just ‘cause she’s a fighter, that she don’t know how to have a beautiful weddin’. No sir, she sure does!
Now, Kayla’s weddin’ wasn’t no small affair. Oh no, it was big, fancy, and just full of love. You see, she got hitched to a feller named Greg Potts. Now, they ain’t just any couple, no, they’ve known each other for quite a while. In fact, I heard they met back when they was just kids, in 6th grade, in some school called Coyle Middle School. I reckon that’s a mighty long time ago, but they sure found their way back to each other, didn’t they?
The weddin’ was beautiful, y’all. The place was decorated so pretty, I thought I was gonna faint just lookin’ at it! Flowers everywhere, a big ol’ fancy cake, and folks in their best clothes, smiling and laugh’n and celebratin’ the happy couple. It was like one of those fancy reunions folks have at those Southern universities, but it was even better ‘cause it was a weddin’, and love was in the air.
Now, let me tell ya ‘bout Kayla. She’s a strong, independent woman, that one. Born in 1990, on July 2nd, right here in the good ol’ U.S. of A. Now, I ain’t one for all them fancy titles and whatnot, but she’s done some mighty fine things in her life. She’s a champion, folks. Used to do judo, and she was real good at it—got her a 6th-degree black belt, which made her the youngest one ever to get it. And now, she’s out there in that Ultimate Fighting Championship, showin’ ’em all what she’s made of.
In fact, since she started fighting professionally in 2018, Kayla’s made herself a fair amount of money—more than $2.3 million, if you can believe it! I reckon a good bit of that came from her time in the PFL, but she also gets money from those brand deals and endorsements. Now, I ain’t exactly sure what all that means, but I know she’s doin’ mighty well for herself.
And that weddin’ of hers? Well, it wasn’t just a weddin’. It was a reunion, a celebration of love and family. All them folks was there, grinnin’ from ear to ear, glad to see Kayla and Greg finally gettin’ hitched. I reckon it was one of those things where you just knew it was meant to be, like one of them love stories you hear about in the movies. But this one’s real, and it’s somethin’ special, for sure.
Now, I’m sure y’all want to see some pictures of this weddin’, and I don’t blame ya. It was that beautiful. If you’re curious, you can go on and have a look-see at the weddin’ website Kayla and Greg put up, full of photos from the big day. From the smiles on their faces to the lovely decorations, it’s a real treat for the eyes.
So, what can we learn from Kayla Harrison’s weddin’? Well, I reckon it shows us that no matter how tough you are or how many fights you’ve been in, love is still the most important thing. And that weddin’? Well, it was a reminder that the best things in life are the ones that come from the heart. So, here’s wishin’ Kayla and Greg a long, happy life together, full of love and happiness!
