Oh boy, now let me tell ya, there’s been a lot of stirrin’ around ’bout this ol’ Batista fella. He ain’t too happy with WWE, that’s for sure. See, WWE went and split up this group called the Hurt Business. Now, for folks like me, that might sound like some kinda big ol’ mess, but lemme break it down.
The Hurt Business, well, they were a bunch of fellas workin’ together, wrestlin’ and bringin’ in the crowds. Ya had Bobby Lashley, big ol’ fella that one, and MVP, who was like the brains of the bunch. Together, they was doin’ good, real good, like folks was real into watchin’ ’em and all.

Then what WWE do? They just go right on ahead and break ’em up! Batista, who ya might remember from back in his own WWE days, well he wasn’t none too pleased ’bout it. He said somethin’ like it was ‘bad for business’. Now, ain’t that the truth? Even a country woman like me can see that split was a bad idea. When folks are buyin’ tickets and watchin’ matches just to see a group, why would ya break ’em up? Don’t make much sense, do it?
Batista’s got some feelin’s on this, lemme tell ya. He says it don’t make a lick o’ sense, and he might be right. Folks go to watch these guys fight as a team, and he thinks WWE went and left money right on the table when they broke up Hurt Business. See, back in his day, Batista was part of a group too, called Evolution. That was with some big ol’ names too, like Triple H. They fought together for a long time, brought in big crowds, and when they did break up, folks noticed.
- Batista left WWE back then ‘cause he wasn’t happy neither.
- He wanted somethin’ fresh, but WWE had different ideas.
- And he sure as heck didn’t wanna be there if he couldn’t have what he wanted!
Now, lemme tell ya, Batista, he thinks this breakup of Hurt Business is just ’bout the same kinda bad move. He’s sayin’ WWE just threw away a chance for more fans and more excitement. And when he said they “left money on the table,” well, that’s fancy talk for sayin’ WWE made a mistake, a costly one. Batista ain’t the only one thinkin’ this, either. Ya got fans all over, online and in them big ol’ arenas, all of ’em scratchin’ their heads wonderin’ why WWE went and did that.
Batista’s been real vocal ’bout it, ya see. He ain’t one to hold back his words when he sees somethin’ he don’t like, and he sure don’t like this. Even MVP, one of the main fellas in Hurt Business, he had some words too. He ain’t happy either, sayin’ they had somethin’ good goin’ and WWE just took it away. Folks were invested in these wrestlers workin’ together, and now they’re split up. MVP, he was tryin’ to keep the Hurt Business strong, but WWE had other ideas, and they went ahead and split ‘em right up.
So, ya see, when Batista talks about WWE messin’ up, he’s talkin’ from experience. He knows what it’s like to be in a group, to have that teamwork and fan support. WWE’s decision don’t sit right with him, and it don’t sit right with a lotta fans neither. They was all rootin’ for the Hurt Business, and now that they’re all goin’ separate ways, well, folks just ain’t as interested no more.
What’s WWE’s plan here? Hard to say. But I’ll tell ya, Batista thinks they’ve done gone and messed up big time. WWE might think splittin’ up these wrestlers is gonna lead to new stories, maybe even new groups. But for a fella like Batista, who’s seen how things go in WWE, he’s thinkin’ they shoulda kept Hurt Business together, givin’ folks more o’ what they love.

And lemme tell ya, I reckon he might be right! Ain’t no good reason to break up somethin’ that’s bringin’ in the crowds. Batista, he’s got his own ideas ’bout how WWE should handle things, and maybe he’s got a point. This ol’ Hurt Business split, it’s just another case of WWE doin’ things their way, but that don’t mean it’s the best way, now does it?
So, there ya have it. WWE broke up Hurt Business, and folks like Batista, they ain’t happy ’bout it. They’re speakin’ up, sayin’ WWE made a big ol’ mistake, and maybe they did. Only time will tell if WWE’s decision was a good one, but right now, fans and even ol’ Batista are all thinkin’ they shoulda kept that Hurt Business rollin’.
