Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with “dnf f1” and see if I could get it to work. I’ve heard some chatter online, but nothing concrete, so I figured I’d give it a shot myself.
Getting Started
First things first, I booted up the game. You know, the usual routine – logged in, selected my character, all that jazz. I made sure I was in a safe area, you know, not in the middle of a dungeon or anything. Gotta be careful with these experiments!

I spent some time double-checking my keybindings. Just in case I’d messed something up before. Everything looked normal, the usual skill setup on my hotkeys. “F1” was still unassigned as far as I could tell.
The Experiment
Here’s where it got interesting. I tried just pressing “F1” on its own. Nothing. Like, absolutely nothing happened. My character just stood there, probably wondering what I was doing.
Then, I got a bit more creative. I tried pressing “F1” while doing other things. Like, “F1” and attacking. “F1” and moving. “F1” and jumping. Still nothing! It was like the key was completely dead in the game.
- Attack + F1: No effect.
- Move + F1: Still just moving.
- Jump + F1: My character just jumped.
I even tried holding down “F1” for a while. Nope. Didn’t do a thing. My character just kept on keeping on, ignoring my frantic key pressing.
Trying Combinations
So, I decided to get even more creative and started trying combinations with the F1.
I tried different skills combinations with “F1”.

- Skill A + F1: No effect.
- Skill B + F1: Still doing Skill B.
The (Disappointing) Result
Honestly? After all that, I got absolutely nowhere. “F1” just seems to…do nothing. At least for me, in my game, with my setup. It’s possible there’s some super secret trick I’m missing, but after a good chunk of time messing around, I couldn’t find anything.
Maybe it’s a leftover from some older version of the game, or maybe it’s something that’s only used in specific, super rare situations. Or maybe it’s just…nothing. Who knows! It’s a mystery, I guess.
If anyone out there has actually gotten “dnf f1” to do something, let me know! I’m genuinely curious. But for now, I’m chalking this one up to a big ol’ question mark.
