Okay, so I’ve been dealing with this annoying tennis elbow pain, especially at night. It was waking me up, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. I tried a few things, and I want to share what actually worked for me.
Figuring Out the Problem
First, I needed to understand why it was hurting more at night. I realized I was probably sleeping in a weird position, bending my arm and putting pressure on the elbow. So, the goal was to keep my arm straight while I slept.

The Experiment Begins!
- Attempt 1: The Pillow Trick
I tried just using extra pillows, propping my arm up to keep it straight.
This was a total fail. I’d move around in my sleep, and the pillows would end up everywhere but under my arm.
- Attempt 2: DIY Splint
I thought, “Okay, I need something more secure.” I tried wrapping a towel around my arm and securing it with some tape.
This was a little better, but it was uncomfortable, and the tape kept coming undone. Plus, it felt kind of ridiculous.
- Attempt 3:The Braces.
I found It had a metal splint inside to keep my arm straight, and the velcro straps made it easy to * first night with the brace was a huge improvement! I finally slept through the night without that throbbing pain waking me up.
Making it Work
Putting on the brace before bed became my new routine. It took a couple of nights to get used to the feeling, but it was way better than the pain. I’d wear it for at least 6-8 hours while sleeping.

What I Learned
- Keeping my arm straight at night was the key to reducing the pain.
- The brace was a lifesaver. It was the only thing that really kept my arm in the right position all night.
- Be patient.I still had the tennis elbow problem.I still deal with my tennis elbow, but use the braces to keep it straight at night.
So, that’s my tennis elbow at night story. Hope this helps someone else out there dealing with the same annoying pain!
