Okay, so I’ve been dying to play the new EA Sports College Football game, but there’s a big, fat problem: I’m a PC gamer. Always have been, always will be. And guess what? EA only released it for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Seriously? Talk about a major bummer.
Figuring Things Out
My first move was, obviously, to scour the internet. I checked the EA Sports website, read some articles, and yep, my fears were confirmed. No PC version. Not even a hint of one in the future.

I was pretty frustrated at first. I mean, who doesn’t release a game on PC these days? I even considered buying a console, then I stopped to think how crazy expensive it is. I just refuse that option.
The “Aha!” Moment (Sort Of)
Then I remembered… emulators! I’d messed around with them years ago to play some old-school games. So, I started digging into that. I spent hours watching YouTube videos and reading forum posts. It’s a whole world, let me tell you.
I discovered that, to try my idea I need to meet the below conditions:
- Get my hands on a copy of the gameI’ll need a ROM or ISO file of College Football 25.
- Find a Reliable Emulator: I learned that for PS5, the emulator scene is super new.
- Beef Up My PC (Maybe): Even with a decent PC, emulating newer consoles is tough.
After considering all the hassle, I might just have to bite the bullet and accept that I can’t play it. Maybe someday EA will come to its senses and release a PC version. Until then, I’ll just watch other people play on YouTube, I guess. The struggle is real, folks!
