Okay, folks, let’s dive into this little project I tackled today: figuring out exactly how many days are left until the NFL season kicks off. It’s not rocket science, but it’s something I was curious about, and I figured, why not make a little exercise out of it?
My Little Countdown Project
First things first, I needed to know the start date. I have remembered that the NFL season usually starts around the beginning of September.
So, I start to searched up “NFL 2024-2025 season start date,” and, boom, Got the key infomation. The date is September 5th, 2024. That’s our target.
Next, I needed today’s date. Easy enough. I just looked at my computer’s calendar. Simple, Today is June 20th, 2024.
Now for the “tricky” part – calculating the days. Honestly, I just used one. There are tons of websites out there where you can just plug in two dates, and it’ll spit out the number of days in * need to get fancy with manual calculations or coding anything up.
- Input Start Date:I typed in today(June 20,2024).
- Input End Date:I typed in the NFL season kickoff(September 5,2024).
I punched in the dates (June 20th, 2024, and September 5th, 2024), hit “calculate,” and… 77 days!
There you have it. 77 days to go. Not too long, but still enough time to get all my fantasy football prep in order.!
