Okay, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Is Fortnite going to add NBA skins?” I’m a huge Fortnite fan, and I like basketball, so I got curious and decided to dig in.
First, I jumped on Google. I just typed in “Fortnite NBA skins” and started scrolling. I saw a bunch of articles and forum posts, some saying it was likely, others saying it was just a rumor. Nothing concrete, you know?
Next, I went straight to the source – I checked the official Fortnite Twitter and Instagram accounts. They’re usually pretty good about teasing upcoming stuff. I scrolled through their recent posts, looking for anything related to basketball or the NBA. I found nothing, bummer.
Checking Out Leaks
After that, I figured I’d check out some of the Fortnite leaker accounts on Twitter. These guys are often right about upcoming skins and events. I found a few tweets hinting at a possible NBA collaboration, but they all said it was unconfirmed. They used words like “speculation” and “rumored,” so I took it with a grain of salt.

I even looked at some YouTube videos. Some YouTubers were talking about it, but it was all just based on the same rumors. No one had any solid proof.
So, basically, after all my digging, I have to say, I’m not getting my hopes up. There’s no real evidence to support the idea that NBA skins are coming to Fortnite. It’s all just speculation at this point. Could it happen in the future? Maybe! Fortnite has done collaborations with all sorts of brands, so it’s not impossible. But for now, I’m thinking it’s just wishful thinking.
