Okay, so I wanted to mess around with this “College Football 25” game, specifically the “Road to Glory” mode. But here’s the thing, I got it all set up, started playing, and boom – the game starts simulating everything by itself. Like, what’s the point of playing if it’s just going to play for me, right? I wanted to get in there and actually, you know, play the game.
So, first, I went online to see if someone else had the same problem, I mean, I couldn’t be the only one, right? I searched a bit, and yep, others were just as confused. I found a forum where people were talking about something called “Super Sim” and how it was messing things up.
Then I started digging into the game’s settings. I figured there had to be a way to turn this “Super Sim” thing off. I went to the main menu, clicked on Settings, then Game Settings.
- Main Menu
- Settings
- Game Settings
There were tons of options in there, it was a bit overwhelming. I was going to find it, and after scrolling and searching, I finally spotted it! There was an option for “Super Sim” and it was set to “On”. I switched that bad boy to “Off”. Also, I found a guy on some forum saying that you can set it to “slow” which makes it so that it just shows the CPU playing against the CPU, but I didn’t try it, just turned off Super Sim.
I went back to my game, started a new one just to be sure, and guess what? It worked! No more automatic simulating. I was finally in control, calling the plays, making the runs, doing all the things I wanted to do from the get-go. It was a bit of a hassle to figure out, but totally worth it in the end. Now I can actually enjoy the game the way it’s supposed to be played. Finally, I solved this problem, and now I can play this game!
