Alright, so I wanted to watch F1 on my Samsung TV, and I was running into some problems. I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. I’m not gonna lie, it was a pain in the butt.
First off, I went to the F1 TV website to see if this thing was even available in my area. I mean, what’s the point of all this if I can’t even get it where I live, right? Turns out it was, so that was good news.
Checking the TV
Then I had to make sure my Samsung TV was compatible. I wasn’t even sure if my TV could handle it, I mean it’s not the newest model or anything, but it’s not ancient either. I did some digging around in the settings and found out it should work. That was a relief, I didn’t want to buy a new TV just for this.
No Direct App
So here’s the kicker, there’s no direct F1 TV app for Samsung TVs, at least not where I am. What a bummer, right? I was hoping I could just download it from the app store on the TV, but nope, no such luck.
Tried to Sign up
Before the hassle, I decided to choose a streaming service that offers F1 coverage. This is a must before all the steps. After the decision, I signed up for it.
Alternative Solution
Since there’s no app, I had to figure out another way. I remembered I had a Chromecast lying around somewhere. I dug it out, plugged it into the TV, and connected it to my Wi-Fi. I’m not a big tech guy, but even I could handle that.

I downloaded the F1 TV app on my phone. Pretty straightforward, just like any other app.
Opened the app, found the race I wanted to watch, and hit the little cast button. Boom, it popped up on my TV. Finally, right?
It Worked!
And there you have it, I was finally watching F1 on my Samsung TV. It wasn’t as easy as I hoped, but I got it done. Now I can kick back and enjoy the races without squinting at my phone or computer screen. It was a bit of a process, but hey, I’m just happy I can watch my races now.
