Okay, so I was trying to figure out where the heck they’re holding the 2025 NBA Draft. I’m a huge basketball fan, and this is something I really wanted to know, so I started digging around the internet to find some answers.
I started by just typing “where is the nba draft 2025” into Google. You know, the usual. The first few results were all about these “NBA Experiences” packages. I scrolled through those. They’re offering tickets to the draft, plus some fancy stuff like meet-and-greets and behind-the-scenes tours. Sounds cool, but honestly, it wasn’t what I was really looking for at the moment.
Then, I noticed a mention of some draft analysts, Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo, talking about the top prospects for the 2025 draft. Duke’s Cooper Flagg, Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe, and Rutgers’ Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey were the names that popped up. I made a mental note to look into them later – always fun to see who the next big stars might be.
Moving on, I found some info about the draft history. Apparently, it’s been at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn almost every year since 2013. But for 2025? Still a mystery, it seemed. One site mentioned that the location hasn’t been announced yet. Ugh, frustrating!
What I Know About the NBA Draft Combine
I did stumble across some solid dates for the pre-draft events, though. It looks like the NBA Draft Combine is happening from May 11th to 18th in Chicago. They’re also doing the NBA G League Combine and the Draft Lottery there in May. So, Chicago is going to be the place to be for all things NBA Draft in May.
- May 9-11: NBA G League Combine in Chicago.
- May 11-18: NBA Draft Combine in Chicago.
- May: NBA Draft Lottery also in Chicago!
Anyway, I kept looking, hoping to find that golden nugget of information about the 2025 draft location. I read about more of those experience packages, some with courtside seats and fancy dinners, but still, nothing about where it’s actually taking place.
So, after all that searching, I’m still not 100% sure where the 2025 NBA Draft will be. It’s a bit of a bummer, but I guess we’ll just have to wait for the official announcement. At least I learned a bit about the pre-draft stuff in Chicago and got some names to watch out for. I’ll keep my eyes peeled and update you all when I find out more!
