Okay, so, I gotta tell you about this headache I’ve been having with WWE 2K23. I mean, seriously, this game has been driving me nuts. I get all hyped up to play, and then BAM! It crashes. Every. Single. Time.
So, the first thing I did, naturally, was to reboot my PC. I figured, you know, sometimes things just get wonky, and a good old restart can fix it. I held down that power button, waited for it to shut down completely, and then fired it back up again. I tried to run the game, and guess what? Crash city.

Next, I thought, “Maybe the game files are messed up or something.” So, I went into the game’s properties and looked for the option to verify the integrity of the game files. I clicked that button, and it started doing its thing. I was really hoping this would solve it. But, nope. Still crashing.
Then I started thinking about my computer itself. Could it be a hardware issue? I double-checked all the system requirements for WWE 2K23. Made sure my graphics card was up to snuff, checked my RAM, all that jazz. Everything seemed to be in order, so that wasn’t it.
After that, I was getting desperate. I even tried running the game as an administrator, you know, just to see if it needed some extra permissions or something. Still nothing. Crash, crash, crash.
Update Drivers
- Graphics Drivers: I went to the website of my graphics card manufacturer (it’s an NVIDIA card) and downloaded the latest drivers. Installed them, rebooted, and… still crashing.
- DirectX: Made sure I had the latest version of DirectX installed. Still no dice.
I mean, I’m no computer expert, but I’m not a total noob either. It’s just frustrating when you try all these things, and nothing seems to work. It’s like the game is just laughing at me. I just want to body slam someone in the virtual ring, is that too much to ask?
I went to update Microsoft Visual, and it still crashed.
After all these things I tried, I found the game still kept crashing. It’s really frustrating.
