Okay, so the other day I really wanted to watch some Angels baseball. I’m a huge fan, you know? But figuring out how to actually watch the games can be a real pain sometimes. So, I did some digging and thought I’d share what I found out. Hopefully, this helps some of you other Angels fans out there.
Figuring Out Where to Watch
First off, I realized that the Angels games are broadcast on a few different channels. I needed to find out which ones carried the games. Some of the major players are like FS1, ESPN, TBS, and Fox. So those were the channels I was primarily hunting for.

Exploring My Options
Now, I don’t have cable. I cut that cord a while back, like many of us have. So, I had to look into some streaming options. I started checking out different services to see what they offered.
- YouTube TV: This was one of the first places I looked. Turns out, they have all those channels I needed – FS1, ESPN, TBS, and Fox. That seemed promising! But then I saw they don’t have MLB Network or FanDuel Sports Network West. Hmm, not a deal-breaker, but a bit of a bummer.
- Fubo: Next, I checked out Fubo. They also have Fox and FS1. And the cool thing about Fubo is that if you’re in the market, they carry Bally Sports West, which is the Angels’ regional sports network. That sounded pretty good too.
Making a Decision
After comparing the two, I decided to go with YouTube TV. Even though they don’t have those extra channels, having the main ones was good enough for me. Plus, I kinda liked the YouTube TV interface better.
Getting Ready for the Game
So, once I had my streaming sorted, I needed to know when the gates opened. I found out that for most games, the gates open 90 minutes before the first pitch. The only exception is for 1 PM games. Good to know!
Enjoying the Game!
Finally, game day arrived! I logged into YouTube TV, found the right channel, and there it was – the Angels game! It was awesome to just sit back, relax, and watch some baseball. I even grabbed some snacks to make it a real game-day experience.
It took a little bit of research, but I finally figured out a way to watch my Angels, I will continue to watch in the future! Hope this helps some of you guys out there!
