Today, I tried to figure out who these Tonga Twins were and how they are connected to WWE. Man, it’s a bit of a rabbit hole, but a fun one!
First step: I started by Googling “Tonga Twins WWE” to get a general idea. I found out that there are actually two sets of “Tonga Twins” floating around in the wrestling world. It seems that many people are confused between them.

Next: I dug deeper into the first set of twins, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. These guys are real-life brothers and are part of the famous Anoaʻi family, but not by blood. This family includes big names like The Rock and Roman Reigns. Turns out, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are the sons of Haku, who is considered an uncle by The Rock. So, they’re like family, but not directly related. They are also the current members of The Bloodline. These guys have been wrestling together for a while, mostly in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where they were tag team champions many times. Tama Tonga even started a group called Bullet Club.
Then: I moved on to the second set of Tonga Twins, the sisters Kaoz and Kona. These two are actual twins and are second-generation Tongans from California. Their parents are immigrants. They’ve been trained by Rikishi, who is a WWE Hall of Famer and the father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa, some other big names in wrestling. I discovered that Kaoz and Kona have wrestled in Women of Wrestling (WOW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). They’re making quite a name for themselves!
After that: I tried to see if there was any connection between the two sets of twins. I looked through various wrestling forums and news sites. I found out that there’s no direct link between Tama Tonga/Tonga Loa and Kaoz/Kona. They just happen to share a similar name and are all involved in the wrestling world.
Finally: I realized how easy it is to get confused with all these names and connections in wrestling. It’s like a big, complicated family tree! I found it super interesting to learn about the different wrestlers and their backgrounds. I even stumbled upon some rumors about the Tonga Twins being spotted at the WWE Performance Center, which could mean they might be joining WWE soon. That would be really cool to see!
So, that’s my journey into the world of the Tonga Twins and their connection, or lack thereof, to WWE. It was a lot of searching and reading, but I had a blast learning all this new stuff. I hope you guys find it as interesting as I did!
