Today, I was scrolling through my phone, you know, the usual – emails, news, and then something caught my eye. It was about some wrestlers getting released from WWE. This got me really curious, so I decided to dig a little deeper.
First, I went to a couple of wrestling news sites. Just typed “WWE releases” into the search bar and boom, a bunch of articles popped up. I started reading through them, trying to get a feel for what’s going on.

Here’s what I found out:
- Bobby Lashley and MVP are out. Apparently, their contracts just ran out. It sounds like it was a big deal, these two are pretty big names in wrestling.
- There were also mentions of some folks from NXT getting the boot. I don’t follow NXT as closely, so those names didn’t ring a bell, but it seems like a whole group got let go.
After getting the names, I went to look up some of the wrestlers’ profiles. I wanted to see what they had been up to recently, you know, their storylines, matches, all that jazz. Then I looked up what they were saying on social media. Some of them had posted about it, talking about their future plans and thanking their fans.
It’s always kind of a bummer when this stuff happens. You get invested in these characters, and then suddenly, they’re gone. But it’s also interesting to see where they’ll end up next. Wrestling’s a wild world, that’s for sure.
In the end:
In the end, I spent a good chunk of my afternoon going down this rabbit hole. It wasn’t something I planned on doing, but hey, that’s the internet for you. One minute you’re checking the weather, the next you’re knee-deep in the world of professional wrestling. But it was a fun ride, and I learned a few things along the way.
