Alright, so I wanted to switch teams in NBA 2K24 MyLeague. Here’s how I did it, step-by-step.
First, I fired up the game and got into my MyLeague save. I was rolling with the Lakers, but I was kinda itching to control the Heat. They got the first pick and I thought, “Why not?”
So, I went to the Options menu. You’ll find it pretty easily. Once I was there, I looked for something called MyLeague Automation. Clicked on that. This is where the magic happens.
Inside MyLeague Automation, there’s an option to Switch Teams. So, I selected the Heat from the list. After that, the important part was to make sure I turned on User Control for them. If you don’t, you won’t actually be playing as them. I found that in same MyLeague Automation.
- Opened Options
- Went to MyLeague Automation
- Used Switch Teams to select the Heat
- Turned on User Control for the Heat
I’ll tell you one thing that got me confused. I thought as the league manager, I should delete my team and add a new team. But this is not right. You just need to simply switch to the team you want to control, and switch the user control to on.
After that, I was good to go! I could control the Heat and make all the decisions for them. It’s pretty cool because you can basically jump around to any team you want, whenever you want. It gives you a totally different perspective on the league. I even tried switching teams in the middle of the season just to see if I could turn things around for a struggling team. That was a blast!
Anyway, that’s how I switched teams in NBA 2K24 MyLeague. It’s not too complicated once you find the right settings. Hope this helps anyone who’s looking to shake things up in their league!
