What channel is that Iowa State football game on? Well, I gotta tell ya, figuring out these TV channels, it ain’t as easy as it used to be. Back in my day, you just turned on the set and there it was. Now, you got all these fancy things.
My grandson, he’s a smart one, he says Iowa State football, that’s the big thing now. Everybody’s watchin’ it. He told me to watch with him. I want to watch that Iowa State Cyclones football game, whatever time it is, and whatever channel it is. They play good, those boys. They run and they jump and they, you know, do all that football stuff. Makes me tired just watchin’ ’em! But it’s fun, especially when they win.
Now, he showed me this thing called “streaming.” Sounds like somethin’ you do with a bucket of water, but it ain’t. It’s how you watch the game on your phone or on that little box, you know, the flat one that hangs on the wall. The internet is a magic thing. They say that Iowa State vs. Cincinnati game is on, or maybe it’s Iowa State vs. Kansas State. I don’t keep up with all them teams. All I know, that Iowa State football is my favorite one.
Figuring Out Them Channels
He wrote it down for me once, where to find the games. Said somethin’ about “FUBO” and “Fox.” Lots of channels have that college football, I think. That Fox, they got lots of shows, that’s for sure. And ESPN, everybody knows that one. My grandson, he gets so excited about Iowa State football that he’s always lookin’ up these things. He’s a good boy. He helps his old grandma with these confusing things. He said that sometimes, the Iowa State football game is on ABC or CBS. That two channels, I know them.
So you gotta look it up, I guess. Look up that Iowa State football schedule. That’s what he calls it. A schedule. Like they’re in school or somethin’. But it tells ya when they’re playin’ and who they’re playin’ against. This week is Iowa State vs. Baylor, I heard. And then, that Iowa State vs. Kansas game. Big games, he says. Important games.
I just like watchin’ ’em run around. Reminds me of when my own boy used to play. He was a good runner, too. He said that there are some platforms like Fubo TV, DirecTV, whatever that means. But I guess if you got those, you can watch that Iowa State vs. Arizona State game.
Watchin’ the Game Today
So, if you wanna watch that Iowa State football game today, you best be gettin’ yourself one of them smart phones or askin’ someone who knows about this stuff. It ain’t like the old days. You need to know what channel is Iowa State football on today. Now you need to ask these young people, they know all about it. They’ll tell ya what channel it’s on and how to get it.

- Maybe that ABC or CBS.

It ain’t simple, but it’s worth it. Those boys put on a good show. And it’s fun to yell at the TV, even if they can’t hear ya. Makes ya feel like you’re right there in the middle of it all.
