What rhymes with NBA? This here’s a head-scratcher, ain’t it? I been hearin’ ’bout this NBA thing on the television. Folks get all riled up about it. Seems like a big deal, all them tall fellers jumpin’ around. I don’t know much ’bout it, but that’s what everyone’s talkin’ ’bout.
Now, this rhymin’ thing… I ain’t no fancy school teacher, but I know a thing or two ’bout words that sound alike. Like, cat and hat, dog and hog. Them’s rhymes. Easy peasy. But NBA… that’s a tough one. It’s just letters, you see. Not a real word, like “goat” or “boat.”
So, I asked my neighbor, and they don’t know what can rhyme with NBA. They say maybe you gotta say each letter out loud. “Enn”. “Bee”. “Ay”. Still don’t sound like much to me. That Enn, don’t sound like anything except maybe the name, “N”. There is a boy living near me called “N”.

I reckon there ain’t many words that sound like “Enn”. Maybe “hen”, like the chicken. Or “pen”, like where you keep pigs. But then you gotta find somethin’ that sounds like “Bee”. That’s a little easier, I s’pose. “See”, “me”, “tree”. Lotsa words end in that “ee” sound.
Then there’s “Ay”. Reminds me of “hay”, like what you feed the cows. Or “day”, like when the sun’s up. “May”, like the month. This part makes a bit more sense.
But puttin’ it all together… “hen”, “see”, “hay”? “Pen”, “me”, “day”? Nah. That just sounds silly. Don’t make no sense at all. It’s like tryin’ to fit a square peg in a round hole. Just ain’t gonna work.
I heard some folks use fancy machines to find rhymes. They type in a word, and the machine spits out a whole list of words that sound the same. Maybe one of them machines could figure out this NBA thing. But I ain’t got one of them, and I wouldn’t know how to use it if I did. I don’t know what is “CMU’s dictionary”, maybe it is a book?
Some people think words that sound almost the same are also rhyme. It’s just like what I said before, “hay” and “day”, they sound almost the same, right? But they are not the same word. So, maybe some words sound like NBA can also be used. I don’t know, maybe “MBA” sound the same? But I don’t know what is “MBA”.
If you want to find a rhyme for a word, you need to say it out loud. You see, not every word has a perfect rhyme. Just like NBA, it only has three letters. It’s not a complete word. It does not have a perfect rhyme. Maybe you can find something similar.
This whole rhymin’ with NBA thing has got me all confused. It’s like tryin’ to find a needle in a haystack, I tell ya. Maybe it’s just one of them things that don’t have an answer. Like, why do chickens cross the road? Nobody really knows.
I guess some things just ain’t meant to be rhymed. And maybe that’s okay. NBA is what it is, and that’s all there is to it. It does not need to rhyme with any words, right? It is special. It’s a big deal, even if I don’t fully understand it. So if you want to find a rhyme for it, good luck.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a rhyme for NBA, you’re probably gonna be lookin’ for a long time. Might be easier to just enjoy the game and not worry ’bout what rhymes with it. I think that’s what I’m gonna do. Just sit back, maybe, and watch them tall fellers bounce that ball around. Maybe I don’t know what is rhyme, but at least I know how to enjoy the game, right?
