Okay, so I got curious about old boxing rankings, specifically from 1970. It’s not something I usually look into, but I wanted to see who the big names were back then.
Digging Through the Past
First, I tried to find some reliable sources. I mean, 1970 was a while ago, right? So, I started to search on the web, and wanted to find contemporary sources. Not the easiest of website to navigate.
I spent some time looking around various boxing websites and forums. It became to find some interesting names.
Putting the Pieces Together
After looking through many data, I started to put together my own little list of the top guys from 1970. These are just some names I was able to find. Here’s what I came up with:
- Heavyweight – Some names here.
- Light Heavyweight – Found another name.
- Middleweight – Another boxer.
- Welterweight – Found two boxers.
- Lightweight – Found one name.
- Featherweight -And another name.
It was kind of a fun experiment. I can try to refine it later with more data. I will try it next time.
